Joy Doran, principle of The Joy of Light, and Lynn Chase, wildlife artist stated they were delighted to be able to work together in creating a variety of lighting accessories based on Lynn’s famous paintings while contributing to the Lynn Chase Wildlife Foundation.
The first introduction for Christmas 2009 is based on the original artwork that inspired her Winter Game Birds porcelain. There will be 2 styles of four-inch matchboxes and 2 styles of eight-inch boxes for fireplace and lighting hurricane lamps. The boxes will also be available in hand made lacquered gift containers.
Also, for this summer there will be introductions based on Lynn’s Jaguar Jungle, Saint Tropez and Trout of American Waters artwork for both sizes of matchboxes.
"The boxes are a wonderful and natural design accent to entertaining and dining and provides necessary funding for my foundation in these difficult times", said Lynn Chase.
All of the new introductions will be available for shipment in May of this year.
Joy Doran commented that she and her husband Mike were especially pleased to contribute to the wonderful works of the Lynn Chase Wildlife Foundation.
The Joy of Light is a new company in the industry and is specializing in the reproduction of both old and new artwork as home accents. Their products are sold through fine specialty stores, tabletop retailers and high end chain stores.
